Upgrades enhance the functionality of your ship and its performance in the field. There are three categories of upgrades:

  • Components, which use specific slots on the ship and provide additional functionality.
  • Sections, which do not use a slot and offer basic functionality like sailing and healing. Unlike components, these do not transfer between ships.
  • Shipwide, which are special bonuses.
