Abandon Ship features a procedurally generated world, where you take on quests, deal with random events, challenge enemy ships, and of course, try to fight against the Cult of Haliphron. You can explore the world as part of a story, telling of the (mis)adventures of the Severed One (your captain), a renegade member of the Cult, or as part of a combat campaign, where you try to find your sister, captured by pirates.
Lore[ | ]
The known world is where Abandon Ship takes place. The known world is a continental-sized collection of islands spanning across multiple biomes. The known world was dicovered by the empire. Ships had to pass the great divide to reach the known world, the great divide is an immense ocean to the east of Land's end and the wild sea. Whilst the majority of the known world is inhabited by the empires' population, smaller tribes outdating the empire are also present. The known world is home to multiple powerfull beings, altough it's unknown if they excist outside the known world. The known world is divided into 15 regions, which were likely named when the empire started colonizing the continent.
